While they cannot communicate directly, they are shown to have an extremely high level of intelligence. Autucrun are not arthropodal but walk on two legs. Their bodies taper to a rounded section bellow the neck from which four tentacle-like limbs hang, each of which has a three-fingers pincher-like hand at the bottom. While their face resembles a human with two eyes, the nose and mouth area are a mass of small, writhing tentacles. An often-repeated motif is of a floating island with an enormous, sinister tower, orbited by smaller floating islands, against a red and black mass of swirling clouds. ==Uses==
Summoned Autucrun are typically used for torture, with the summoner directing the creature towards a restrained victim. Sometimes an Autucrun is summoned into a sealed room with a victim and allowed to kill the victim as a form of execution.

==Theories==
Based on studies from summoned Autucrun, theorists believe they normally exist on some plane outside of normal reality in which they have some sort of society. Their nature is believed to be so completely alien that corporeal being such as humans simply cannot comprehend them. Hence the inability to meaningfully communicate.

As such, it is believed that Autucrun may not be malicious, but rather find our reality as alien as there's, and that everything is simply an effort to understand us.
