Darryl Tenzeki was born at [[Sun's Beacon]] General Hospital #11, on the 11th day of the 11th month, [[N.D.]] 499. The name listed on his identification card and birth certificate is actually Darryl Patterson, which is not his mother's last name, she being [[Brenda Christianson]].

==Early Life==
Darryl's mother worked two jobs until he was about 5, supporting them all right but mostly warehousing Darryl with low-rent daycares and babysitters. When he was five years old, his body began to degenerate, and Brenda was able to apply for public aid from the [[Sun's Beacon City Sages]]. She worked as a waitress at a small restaurant and took care of him the evenings, until a raise in rent prices allowed her to apply for public housing. From that time forward, all of the family's expenses were paid for by Darryl's disability money.
