The term "Foundation Doctrine" refers to official statements made by the [[Gudersnipe Foundation]], and to which the Foundation often directs questions. Doctrine is not held in a religious light and is subject to frequent change. It is, however, considered "official", and only the [[Blind Counsul]] and various high-ranking members of the organization are allowed to make official statements.

Doctrine is neither religious, educational, or historical. It is simply official. Doctrine covers topics as diverse as the correct way to floss and various thoughts on pre-antiquity. Any time a statement is described as being according to "official statements" made by the Foundation, it is considered a part of the foundation's doctrine.
