Not "whenever the fickle gods of chance give it to me". So a very high-end item may take 1,000+ runs to obtain -- but you WILL obtain it at around that point. Its not a randomized system.</ins>

Effectively, the system is based around the use of tokens traded to NPCs…'

New page

The Raid Loot system works in conjunction with several other systems(such as crafting). Effectively, the system is based around the use of tokens traded to NPCs. The token system is not exclusive to raids.

This system is based around four things:
*Quest Tokens
*Dungeon Tokens
*Ingredients
*Named Items

An NPC will trade you either an upgraded version of the named item, or something else from a specific list, for a set number of each.

Quest Token
Each dungeon that is part of the system will drop a specific token unique to that dungeon. For example, the Infernal Court raid will drop Infernal Court Tokens.

These tokens are used either to upgrade named items, or to trade for crafting ingredients. Quest Tokens can only be obtained from the dungeon for which they are named.

Dungeon Tokens
Dungeon Tokens are generic tokens. They are used in conjunction with Quest Tokens to obtain high-end gear. An item will require a number of these, better items require more. Dungeon tokens can also be traded for rare ingredients.

Ingredients
See the ingredient. These are basically collectible items that drop in various places. Upgrading the item will require a set number of these, probably a fairly high number. These can be farmed in and around the dungeon.

Named Items
Named items are obtained as random, rare drops from the quest. Some can be upgraded through this system, others can be trained for high-quality crafted items(such as a high +value Very Fine magical material weapon).
