	[[Provincial Rowen]] refers to a series of regions outside [[Rowen]] proper, which maintain a similar culture and mutual affiliations. These regions are semi-autonomous and very in terms of ethnic makeup. [[Cartesia]] is one such province. The [[Deadlands]] are technically a province, but are uninhabited. The northern provinces are known for holding a strong nationalistic Rowen national identity while also breaking with many established Rowen customs and traditions. The northern regions engage more heavily in trade and resource exploitation, providing coal and logging, as well as most of Rowen's food exports.
