Known simply as "The Tekron Incident", this refers to the final fate of the TTR Missiles, which were lost when G.S.S. Tekron was unsuccessfully scuttled. The uncertain fate of the weapons, along with the wreck's resting place close to an inhabited system, led to all reports being classified, and quietly buried.
G.S.S. Tekron
The Tekron was built as part of Operation Jackroot and classified as an armored re-supply ship. The vessel had defensive capabilities equivlant to a battle cruiser and was even lightly armed. It lacked the main guns of a formal battery ship, she was considered sound enough to take in to war zones with escorts and provide supplies to capitol ships.
