Dwarves

Dwarves represent one of the greatest mysteries of the known worlds. The Book of Lore speaks extensively of a race of short, stout, quasi-magical being who fought on both sides of the conflict, but how much of that information is accurate remains a question of scholarly debate.

There is strong archeological evidence for a widespread race with a very distinct culture.
