The Armory at Kartik is a famous lost outpost belonging to the Marcon Alliance, and is believed to be the final resting place of the Soul Stealer, a legendary magical sword. The armor was long held to be in north-western Korrinth, though its exact location was not determined until the late Sixth Age.
Name
'Kartik', in the real world, is the name of an Indian god of war: the son of Shiva, the god of destruction, and the foster-son of six goddesses called the Krittikas (hence his name). Hence, the name suits an armory.
