In the New Day era, Cannath continues to be a major trading hub for materials, but is best known as a tourist destination. It is a major port of call for cruises sailing out of Sun's Beacon. It also provides a convent point of access to the Necrotic Zone. In the New Day era, Cannath has no formal government of its own and exists wholly under the control of Sun's Beacon.
