A "code 6" or "Code 6 Scenario" is outlined in Crimson Blade operations manuals as a long-term survival situation. In this event, an individual or crew is stranded on a planet without hope of immediate rescue, and may be required to survive for years or even indefinitely. In code 6 mode, Lancers will immediately begin looking for renewable food sources, secure long-term shelter, and in general prepare for a lengthy hold-out. The Technological Review was created to assist in such situations, and all Blade ships carry a copy of it.
