Combat Scanner

The Combat Scanner is a pattern-recognition module and machine-learning database that, when fed data by a variety of sensor inputs, can make identifications and display data. They are built and used exclusively by the Gudersnipe Foundation.

The primary function of the scanner is unit identification. A combat scanner can read thousands ov inputs and correlate variables to attempt to identify an enemy ship or vehicle, then display data about its known capabilities. The scanner can also discern and account for damage as well as environmental factors.
