The rank system used by the Crimson Blade and Gudersnipe School are somewhat complex, employing a variation that combined traitional navy rates with some army-style ranks.

School Ranks

At Gudersnipe School, all students are considered commissioned officers and use officer ranks exclusevely. However, until they graduate, this "commission" has no barring outside of the school. Occasionally, Crimson Blade regulars will be placed under the command of a student admiral, but this is fairly uncommon. The school itself has a vast and powerful fleet, so there is little need to employ the regulars in most combat situations. More often, a
