While in her early twenties, she contracted a rare and incurable disease, and set about using her remaining years to attempt magical [[Reincarnation]]. Her spirit was freed from her body, and existed as an elemental manifestation, inhabiting various natural features until well into the [[New Day]]. She spent most of this time lost and unaware of the passage of time. She had thought she was only "sleeping" somewhere, and that she had to find her way back to her body.
