Low Mountain Eerie is a second eerie belonging to High Mountain Flight, constructed in the Age of the New Day at Low Mountain, near the Biswon River Delta close to Sun's Beacon. The eerie was originally meant to house an off-shoot flight, loyal by blood ties to High Mountain. However, when The Broodmother brought absolution to dragons, the need to create a defensive flight was removed. Officially, every dragon at Low Mountain is a member of High Mountain Flight; the gold in the hoard is part of High Mountain's hoard. There are no barriers, real or imagined, to distinguish a second flight.

Low Mountain does brood along a different cycle than High Mountain, and has fewer elders. Though as it is regarded essentially as a subsidiary cave, it does not need elders of its own. Much like High Mountain, Low Mountain has a large amount of human-built and maintained infrastructure, especially regarding its food supply. Originally, Low Mountain was intended to give High Mountain a position to exert authority over Sun's Beacon, however the reformation of the Alliance removed this need.
