Cast of Characters:

Nadine

Nadine is the heroin of the story. Rough, tough, ballsy, generally more of a man than any of the men in the mountain Kingdom(all of whom are at least twice as manly as the men from the Valley Kingdom). But she has a softer side; she is still a spoiled, rich princess, as comfortable in gowns as in armor. She is beautiful and shapely, if somewhat poorly endowed. But she is also strong and skilled, a capable warrior and well able to take on the roll of saving the other princess. Physically she is attractive; shapely, feminine, but well-toned and athletic. She does however have a very meager bosom, but a great ass.

Nadine is the protagonist and the only playable character

Ashlynne Nadia

As princess of the Valley Kingdom, Ashlynne plays the hapless victim, the princess in need of rescuing. Ashlynne is basically a one-dimensional character who’s soul purpose for existing is to get kidnapped and locked up in Wayne Tower. Physically she is very attractive, with flowing blond hair and one absolutely dynamite rack.

The King

The King of the Mountain Kingdom is The King. Seriously, that’s his name: The King. And not even King, his proper name is The King. He too is mostly one-dimensional, walks around being The King and singing into a hairbrush. The player really only talks to him when she wants something. Yes, The King looks like a fat Elvis impersonator. We may even try to get away with using tracks and clips of Elvis Presley himself for all of the kings dialogue... just sort of make it fit somehow.

The King will give you:

  • Up to 3 free levels
  • Gold equivalent to the XP of the last level you gained up to 3 times for different levels
  • A suit of pink armor which can be upgraded to be as good as the best set in the game

The Blacksmith

This is the guy you go to in order to upgrade your armor and weapons. Upgrades cost major farthings, and the smith is always busy working on his ISO 9000 standardization. The smith will act as a general vendor selling basic versions of most weapons and armor. He will also preform upgrades provided you have the needed material. Upgrades usually cost a small fortune, with the exception of the pink armor, which he will(while laughing at you) upgrade to any suit you bring him.

The Merchant

This guy is a little weird. First off, his shop is in 5 locations. Second, there’s only one of him! He is the same merchant throughout the entire game and he has a persistent shop inventory, with new items becoming available as the player’s level increases. Any item you sell to him remains in his shop indefinitely.

Wayne Domicraw

Wayene is the Evil Disco Techno Sorcerer Person(EDTSP) who is hell-bent on... actually, its never made exactly clear what he's trying to accomplish. He's clearly sobosexual, so he has no interest in forcing Ashlynne to marry him. He consorts almost exclusively with robots, and despite commanding a force easily able to devastate the Mountain and Valley kingdoms... he just sort of sits back and hangs out in his Evil Lair. He fills the role of Big Bad in the game but nobody is sure of quite why.

Wayne is the antagonist, an evil inventor of hideous intellect. He isn’t so much ‘bad’ as he is ‘insane’. His machinations terrorize the land. He’s just the kind of person who when he kidnaps a princess, no one is the slightest bit surprised.

Characters based on the creators

These are four characters based on the four founding members of the SomethingSoft Unofficial Dev Team, all of whom are supposed to have contributed in some way to the game(we were originally planning to make it together, and I assume all of them will still help me some).

The IT Guy

Wait, why is there an IT guy in a fantasy game? IT Guy’s actual function in-game is to allow the princess to buy experience points at an exchange rate of 1 GP per XP. Otherwise he just sits around making jokes and complaining about how little employment there is for Information Technology Specialists in a medieval fantasy world. His originally appearance is quite anachronistic until you realize there is actually a lot of technology in the game.

The Mystic

This is the primary quest-giver in-game, though he appears to be smoking something. Basically you can go to him for information anytime you dare. The Mystic serves the primary roll of advancing the plot, though you can move the game forward without him. His role is to fill in any plot-points the player may have missed while having fun.

The Master

Your old teacher. Mostly you hear his voice in your head as you battle, but you can visit him in-game for combat tips. Mostly, he explains how the game works and the rules. He is the tutorial guy!

The DDR Guy

Doesn’t do much besides play DDR and mention occasional game secrets. You'll actually find him randomly at any number of DDR machines spread throughout the game.
