Magic in Mountains and Valleys will be extremely simplistic: you have spell points, & each spell has a cost. Cast the spell, it has its effect, you loose spell points; finish. The spells themselves will mostly be unlocked as you level, though some can be learned from NPCs or found as special items. The player can "memorize" or prepare up to eight spells by placing them on a 'hot' bar. The spellbook caries all of the other spells the character knows.

Spell points regenerate slowly over time or by potions. Maximum spell points are determined by Inteligence stat.

Spell List

There are no enchantments in this game, just damage and healing spells. Damage spells are split into single-target and AOE spells.
