The Office of Special Operations is an organization within the Gudersnipe Foundation which oversees numerous civilian and millitary operations throughout the Foundation. It is often said that the OSO "has its fingers in every pie". The OSO is very secretive, despite overseeing things as mundane as tax collection and census information.
The truth, however, is that in addition to mundane duties, the OSO is a blanket organization through which numerous secret operations are carried out. The Argosy Special Operations unit is run through the OSO, as is the Nonlinear Security Agency.
