The Office of Special Operations is an organization within the Gudersnipe Foundation which oversees numerous civilian and millitary operations all throughout the Foundation. It is often said that the OSO "has it's fingers in every pie". The OSO is very secretive, despite overseeing things as mundane as tax collection and census information.
The truth, however, is that in addition to it's mundane duties, the OSO is a blanket organization through which numerous secret and black-operations are carried out and maintained. The Argosy Special Operations unit is run through the OSO, as well as the Nonlinear Security Agency.
