Invented by Dr. Rupert Python, the Python Reacor is the standad method of faster-than-light propulsion employed by the Gudersnipe Foundation.
The Reactor itself uses multiple stages to produce Python particles(Discovered by Dr. Python), which are employed in the creation of the energy mantle whish allows for FTL.
Photonic Core
The Photonic Core is the heart of the reactor. using rapidly spnning photon traps, it sifts out the photons and allows only pythons to pass. The efficincy of the core ultimately determines how fast the ship can travel. If the ratio of pythons to photons is not greater than nine to one, the ship will not be able to break the stop-light barrier.
