Rak'ris was a sorcerer who lived during the early First Chaotic Period, sometime around B.G.A. 3500. Little about his life is known, and virtually nothing about his age, place of birth, or heritage survive.
What is know is Rak'ris' power. He is often described as the first "true Mage Types#Sorcerer", though many mages could be called Sorcerers before his time. Rak'ris was undeniably powerful: many accounts speak of him personally leveling mountains, and laying waste to entire regions.
