Clocking in at a bookshelf-busting 37 volumes, Scalgdorf's "On Dragonology" is considered the seminal work on the subject, combining all available knowledge of dragons in one place. Scalgdorf, an Atayan by birth, used the earlier work of Yule Steinheart as the basis for his book, adding to it a lifetime's worth of research, observation, and direct interaction with dragons.
