This actually is a neat little coincidence, but if you check 4th Age, Ransom is on Altronis in 570, about midway through the era. His was an isolated planet elsewhere, if I recall.
S1: Dates can be changed, unless some other date depends on it. Of course, the Altronis Corpocracy was never officially a member of the Corporate Sector (they knew little more than the public about life on other planets), but their culture was strikingly similar, and suggests what cultural similarities always do. Stories change to suit each other, after all.
