The Strato Caster was a powerful magical artifact that belonged to Ander Scoville. It is described as long and vaguely pear-shaped, with a long neck and a wide base. The surface was studded with precious gemstones and various enchanted items, including a series of wires used in Ander's spellcasting.

The relic is said to have been made of solid Mithrill, though most historians speculate it was probably Adamantium. It is thought that Ander's empire was not large enough to gather that much mithrill, but sources disagree about how common the substance was at the time. Adamantium was definitely easier to come by, and was more commonly used to create weapons.

Final Fate

Ander lived more than three hundred years, and the caster was among his most prized posessions. With Reincarnation magic available, some speculate that the caster went into Ander's grave.

There are no definitive accounts of the caster after Ander's lifetime, though it is alluded to at various times during the Dynastic Period, notably by the Marcon Alliance. Most historians agree that it was probably dismantled and the materials recycled sometime during this era.
