U.E.A.S. Vanguard

A.S.N. Vanguard, originaly named C.B.S. Bellerophon, was a warship modified into a research vessel and dispatched to explore the Abu ALH01 galaxy. The ship saw action in the Kamian Succession Wars as both the Bellerophon and Vanguard.

Unique Attributes

The Vanguard was designed to be small and highly self-sufficient. Because it had to function for extended durations, it was equipped with a nuclear reactor as the primary power-source, instead of the much more common Nugen Reactor. This, along with other improvements, gave the ship a potential endurance of thirty years.
