The Wietzel Family is the richest private family in the known worlds, having secured perpetual wealth in the early Golden Age when Patrick Wietzel retained a stake in his steel company, Absolute Metal, which was sold to the Gudersnipe Foundation. Wietzel's heirs continue to recieve dividends from the dividends from a roughly 4% ownership in the company, which is itself responsible for roughly 90% of all refined metal production in the Gudersnipe Foundation.
