As covered under crafting, there are five different crafting schools(smithing, runeing, basic enchanting, alchemical enchanting, ritual enchanting. What follows is a more in-depth description of how each works and what is possible with each.
- Smithing: will never produce a magical weapon. Weapons CAN be made from Magical Materials and may have special properties as a result, but the base damage and capabilities on these items will be the same as those made of ordinary metals.
- Runeing: is primarily about stat-boosts and skill bonuses.
- Basic Enchanting: does simple damage increases and additional stat/skill boosts.
- Alchemical Enchanting: Creates more wild effects like complex magical damage, etc.
