Following the deaths of six Slayer Dragons late in the Sixth Age, the Sixth Age was brought to a premature close and the Age of the Dragon began. Though most historians refused to acknowledge the change, it was none the less a pivitol and important period.

The Age of the Dragon lasted for fifty years and ended with the begining of the Long Night.
