Clearwater Sound is a very large bay east of the Erum Range past the extreme eastern-end of the Sword Coast. The Drack civlization was centered upon the fertile plains near Clearwater Sound to the south.
While the area in which the Drack lived has been badly contaminated since the Mage Wars, the Sound itself lives up to its name, and is one of the largest undisturbed wilderness regions on the Greater Continent.
