Glorina was an experimental prototype warship built late in the Kamian Succession Wars, and was one of the most successful Alliance ships ever fielded. While barely the size of a Crimson Blade cruiser, it was none the less the largest Alliance battleship produced during the war. Glorina was backed by the Pendragon himself.

Concept and Design

Glorina was an attempt by the Alliance to build ships on the same scale as the Foundation. The goal was to prove that(maybe with a little help) the Alliance could have capital ships on the front lines. Since the early-war period, UESAF ships had been relegated to relatively unimportant details, usually running point for the much larger Foundation ships or guarding supply lines(in many cases, alongside frieghtors that were more heavily armed than they were).

A few Alliance member-worlds were producing ships large enough and powerful enough to fight alongside Foundation dreadnaughts, but the Alliance had, in general, lacked the resources.

The goal behind Glorina was to build a powerful, 50PSL+ dreadnaught using only Alliance technology.

Ships Systems

Because the Alliance lacked large-scale FTL-fabrication capability, Glorina was forced to use roughly two dozen small Python Reactors. It made the FTL drive incredibly challenging to operate, but the ship was able to reach acceptable speeds.
