Hiayto Merrick was believed the leader of the Society of Assassins during the early Second Age. He was the only representative of the organization ever to come forward publicly. Very little is known about his life, as he was born into the Society. He was later discovered as a low-level operative, instructed to divert attention by claiming leadership.
