The Gauntlet Weapon is a special item that takes the place of a wrist armor piece and does not provide AC. It does not occupy the Hand slot, so traditional weapons can still be used. They are magical items with a wide array of special abilities, but typically work as close-in ranged weapons. They require special facets to use.
Activating the gauntlet is done as a free action and is considered a special ability.
