Weapon upgrades function like exotic properties but can be added to an existing item..
- Weapon Hook: this gives a weapon the "hooked" property, adding a +5 to disarm-checks. This does not stack with an already hooked item.
- Hand Chain: a chain wrapped around the wearer's gauntlet and attached to the weapon hilt, this makes the holder immune to disarm.
- Counter-Balance: a counterweight placed on the hilt of a melee weapon, it adds a +0.5 bonus to attack speed.
- Edged: an edged-weapon is supremely sharpened by a master craftsmen. It deals 1 additional point onf untyped-damage on each successful melee hit. Can only be applied to bladed weapons.
- Rune Tassels: a pair of tassels with circles of metal at the end are added to the weapon, allowing 4 additional runes to be added.
