Dragoon Lancer Fantasy Day Camp

Dragoon Lancer Fantasy Day Camp, also known as Space Marine Fantasy Camp, is a joint program put on by the Gudersnipe Foundation's Crimson Blade mercenary corpse and the Trans-Draconic Federation Navy. The program is open for children ages 7 to 15, with older teens being offered a more authentic boot camp experience through a different program. Despite being jointly administered the Blade's own Dragoon Lancers get top-billing as the Foundation provides the bulk of funding and advertisement. It is actually typically active-duty TDFN soldiers who run the camps.

Program

The camp is a day camp and does not host any sleep-away activities. The exact activities offered vary, but the camps are always held on active military bases whenever one is situated sufficiently close to a population center (such as Arindell Naval Air Station on Aren). Most of the camp's offerings involve letting kids use the actual training spaces and equipment set up for soldiers. The camp focuses on calisthenics, obstacle courses, and war games. Children how show especially good behavior and discipline may be rewarded with additional privileges such as time on the gun range, with the ability to handle military-grade small arms.

One unique element of the camp is the opportunity to "rank up" by attending sessions in subsequent years, which gives the camper access to more privileges.
