MPNP Crafting
Mage Wars RPG has an extensive crafting system that does not translate well to a PnP game. Grinding for ingredients and tedious leveling-up is fun in an MMO, not so much with miniatures.
Instead, in the PnP game, it is possible to "craft" any item by going to an NPC. Base items can be purchased, and enchantments and runes added to them for a simple payment. More exotic items will require the character to fine or receive a special item, which can also sometimes be purchased, and then has to be taken to an NPC to craft.
In addition, Resources can allow a character to craft according to his or her own ability. In this case, they still must pay a price for the item they wish to craft, and have anny appropriate special items in order to make it.
