Setnik Albath was a necromancer of considerable skill who lived late in the True Night-era of the Long Night. Though exact dates are difficult to fix within the era he is generally considered to have lived sometime around 750 years before the start of the New Day.
Life and Times
If most accounts are to be believed(and scholars generally believe that they are), Setnik lived an unusual life. In an era where few people traveled more than 50 miles from home, he wandered across the whole of Aren. The strongest evidence for his life and the truth of his story is his appearance on the registry of so many Necromancer Temples. He is known to have lived and traveled extensively in Vorosh and Agras. How onw writing claim he also traveled through Rowen and Korrinth, and that he spent 20 years alone in The Interior.
Personal Beliefs
Only an indifferent necromancer, he practiced rituals of his own devising and worshipped unknown entities. He claimed to have "uncovered the secrets" and often said all men would worship as he did if they knew the things he knew. He often sited this as the reason for authoring the Solemnikatica.
