A short story from The Path to Ascension, in the series it is the very first story and as such essentially introduces the main character, Hunter Jusenkyou. We also meet Massey, a minor re-ocuring character not important enough to have a last name.
In The Wings of a Dragon, Hunter's magical abilities have already begun to emerge, and this story takes place chronologically after his first meeting with Amuro.
