The second story of The Path to Ascension. The story covers much of Hunter's childhood and teenage years, as he reminisces about his various experiences. The story takes place in the basement of his group home, but includes several flashbacks to his childhood, including his meeting with Amuro.
The story ends with him leaving to attend Gudersnipe School.
