MRPG Harmony
Ideas: stuff involving cool downs and star ratings. Also tie in to flourish system. Changes: Changes to the Harmony system: these are all now officially temporary buffs, so anything adding HP/MP etc is gone for good. Healing is fine, though that should be in Exigent moire
Harmony is a special ability that each character, regardless of race or class, has access to. Each harmony has a small passive effect, a Major Chord, and three Minor Chords. The Major Chord is a powerful activated ability with a cool down of one hour. One harmony is chosen at character creation, and an additional harmony added every rank. Harmonies added later do not provide additional activations or abilities.
Each Harmony has a major and minor chord, the major is the ability unlocked when taken as your primary harmony, the minors are what is added when successive harmonies are taken. For harmonies with passive minor chords that do not only support the major chord, it is possible to take minors from other harmonies.

- Anthem
- Major Chord: You surround yourself with an ethereal shield, twisting your will into a wall of force. All physical attacks miss completely. All Mortal and Elemental damage is negated. You still take damage from Positive and Negative sources, as well as harmful spell effects. Lasts 3 rounds.
- Minor Chord I: The duration increases to 5 rounds, and includes immunity to Positive and Negative damage.
- Minor Chord II: Harmful spell effects are negated.
- Minor Chord III: The duration increases to 8 rounds
- Major Chord: You surround yourself with an ethereal shield, twisting your will into a wall of force. All physical attacks miss completely. All Mortal and Elemental damage is negated. You still take damage from Positive and Negative sources, as well as harmful spell effects. Lasts 3 rounds.

- Major Chord: one for each proficiency, when active it increases by 20 points.
- Minor Chord I: adds 10 more, these minor chords are useless without the major
