Isabelle Marie Swanson-Collins Work is a minor character in Going South.
Youth
Isabelle Maria Swanson was born and raised on Planet Altronis by her mother and father, and had a few close friends. She lived a commonplace bourgeois existence, in fact, until she met Eobard Collins, the adopted son of Elias Grimshaw. Shortly after this meeting, Isabelle became obsessed with becoming immortal, and therefore joined the Dark Order.
Marriage and Career
Isabelle married Eobard Collins; but he was killed shortly after the miscarriage of their daughter Bethany. Unknown to her, Eobard's father had ordered his death; but Isabelle, instructed by Grimshaw, blamed A.E. Clipson, who nursed a grudge against her. She therefore took part ever more deeply in the Dark Order's affairs, until its destruction by Marcus Ransom.
Later Life
With the Dark Order annihilated, Isabelle married Jonas R. Work, and had several children. Thereafter she appears to live in peace and happiness.
