The Lowland Hills region is an endorheic basin at the confluence of the High Mountains and the Barrier Range. The unique combination of geopgraphy leave the bulk of the region well below sea level, while a few of the taller hills reach about to sea level. The area is theorized to contain the lowest point on the Greater Continent, though a lack of human exploration means there is no way to prove this.

The Lowland Hills are the ancestral homeland of the High Mountain Flight and were once home to the Lowland Hills Flight. When the flight was eventually destroyed, the land was ceded to the High Mountain Flight, who considers it part of their holdings. However, the very remote region is beyond High Mountain's direct influence.
