MRPG Bandages
Bandages, poultices, and salves are all covered under the same rules. These count as non-magical healing items that can be used by anyone. They restore a variable number of HP, modified by the user's medicine skill.

Bandages
Bandages are crafted items made of a variety of materials, see MRPG Bandage List for details.
All bandages add the user's buffed Medicine Skill to the final amount of HP restored. If the player has a(buffed) Medicine Skill of 5 or greater, the medicine modifier is also added((base amount healed x modifier) + base amount healed). This can be extremly powerful at higher levels, as a bandage that would only heal for 100HP instead heals for 150(with just a medicine skill of 5).
Poultices
A poultice haves differently than a bandage. It is not variable, but intead restores a specified amount of HP + Medicine Skill over time.
Example: A poultice heals 10 HP every 5 seconds for 25 seconds, the player has a Medicine Skill of 5, the poultice heals for 15 HP every 5 seconds for 25 seconds or 75 HP total.
Salves
Salves restore damage to stats and proficiences. There is no check required and no variable involved, simply apply the salve and watch it restore 1 point to the prescribed stat or proficiency that is injured.
