Heredity is a sort of stripped-down version of Reincarnation, in which a character becomes the son or daughter of another character. One key difference is that the original character does not have to die.

The main advantage to heredity is the ability to move Bound to Character items between characters, often allowing for much more powerful items to be attained at lower levels.

Heredity Tiers

Heredity is available at any time, though has no effect if the parent character is rank 0.

  • Heredity I: the parent character must be at least Rank 1, the child character gains an additional +3 to any one stat at character creation.
  • Heredity II: the parent character must be at least Rank 2, the child character gains an additional +3 to any one stat as well as 2 additional skill points to distribute at character creation.
  • Heredity III: the parent character must be at least Rank 3, the child character gains +3 to any one stat, 2 additional skill points, and 1 additional proficiency point. at character creation.

Generations

Proficiency points gained from Heredity III stack over the generations. In order to receive this bonus, the character must be the son(or daughter) of a character who attained max level(Heredity III) and is also the son or daughter of a character who attained max level. Assuming the player continues to max-out characters, there is no limit to the proficiency points that can be stacked in this way. Each character from third generation onwards also gains a +1 bonus(non-stacking) to all stats.
