Megareth is a Flat Dimension somewhere beyond The Outer Rim, most probably located in the Seventh Domain. Similar to Ring On it is very challenging to access. The existence of Megareth is not disputed. Several beings who fought in the Mage Wars came from Megareth. It is the origin of several well-known Mystical Creatures. While travel to and from Megareth is difficult and the location is dangerous, it was accessed several times during the Mage Wars though not much after.

Megareth is best-known from the wholly fictional story Lieber in Megareth written about 200 years after Eieber's death. A popular adventure novel about the famed first Pendragon Eieber traveling to Megareth. While the story is a work of pure fiction, many of the locations and characters are based on actual accounts of Megareth. The book is cited as igniting popular interest in Megareth, and continued to be re-published and adapted throughout most of the Alliance era. Hundreds of unauthorized direct sequels were written, along with at least one re-telling based on each later Pendragon (sometimes more), spawning a whole genre of varying quality.

Though said to be very beautiful, Megareth is a dangerous land. Supposedly the ground is littered with Common Enchanted Itemss from adventurers who died there, and gold is so common it is used to pave roads. Notable sites include a city made from jade (onyx in some accounts), a mountain-sized quartz crystal, and sapient stone golems the size of hills. Many stories speak of strange creatures that are generally harmless but unlike anything described elsewhere in the verse.

Megareth is known to Dragons who generally describe the place as "not worth it".
