First Stand

First Stand is the story of the Eighth Power's first mech battle. It is part of The Road to War, the second volume of the Course Books. It is somewhat analogous to Last Stand, Tora, Tora, Tora from The Path to Ascension, but at the opposite end of the spectrum.
