Duality

The Duality are beings that exist with two forms. The best-known version are the Loup Garoux of Moon Garm. A loup garoux is both human and wolf. Not a hybrid of the two, but one being with two shapes and the ability to shift between. The mermaids from the Antelope Books are another example.

Origin

Duality are not found in nature, but rather are created artificially through magical or technological means. The Loup Garoux were created by the sorceress Cilean late in the Second Chaotic Period, the mermaids were the result of experimentation by the Ancients and it is not know exactly what methods were employed.

Other Duality

During the Consecution Books, the Society of Assassins creates an army of different Duality creatures to fight against Conri Jason Jusenkyou and his Slayer Dragons.

Jason Bur'I also theorized in a top-secret white paper that the Kamians may in fact be a Duality, based on a comparative analysis of Kamian, Loup Garoux, human, and dragon DNA. His findings were quietly buried and no further research iniated.
