Multi-Classing has been retooled. Each class is now stratified into levels, and various abilities scale based on levels in a specific class.
 
 
Let's begin with some basics: multi-classers will be limited to a maximum of 3 classes. Not all are equal; you will have a primary, secondary, and tertiary, with diminishing capabilies as you move away from your primary. The system also requires that you "Take levels" in your multi-classes, which controls what you get access to.
 
 
 
==Primary==
 
Primary functions a bit differently, in that your character will always "count" as that class, without even technically needing any levels in it. Your primary class determines your base Proficiency, pillars, class-granted Activated Abilities, and Exigant Moiri. You get all of these things even if you multi-class into another class entirely.
 
 
 
==Secondary==
 
When taking on a secondary class, you may choose three proficiencies from that class. You are also granted access to that class's pillars, but may only spend points in them up to your level in the secondary class(E.G. if you are a Warrior and took 9 levels of Exo-Mage, you can only spend 9 points).
 
 
 
The same rules apply to any level-based abilities or unlocks. In order to get the granted Activated Abilities, you must have enough levels in the class to be granted them. Spellcasters will only have access to spells unlocked by their caster-level. You do not receive the Exigent Moirai for your second class.
