The ranger has emphasis (obviously) on ranged weapons, with most of his skills and abilities focused on dealing damage from far away. The ranger, like the rogue, employs some stealth to evade detection and escape sticky situations.

While the Ranger does deal death from afar, their primary strength lies in mid-range combat, moving in close, firing of many arrows, and fleeing before an enemy can close the gap.

Rangers wear no armor and dress in specialized outfits. When not wearing armor they gain a major bonus to movement speed. Rangers can dress in armor and focus on using crossbows and other weapons, but they loose the advantages of speed and maneuverability.

Starting Stats

  • Main: Dexterity
  • Secondary: Stamina

Favored

  • Favored Proficiencies: Special Proficiency, Ranged, Weapon Proficiency, Ranged.

Rangers also receive an additional +2 point bonus to their Weapon Proficiency, Ranged proficiency on top of the +5, making the total possible at character creation 17.

Exigent Moirai

  • Rank I: For 6 seconds, you may fire a ranged weapon without reloading.
    • Rank II: Duration increases to 12 seconds.
      • Rank III: Duration increases to 20 seconds.

Activated Abilities

  • Injure
  • Multi-Shot
