Mage Wars works around 5 specific character stats that are increased through leveling and through equipped items.

  • Strength
  • Speed
  • Intelligence
  • Stamina
  • Dexterity

Stats are used in combat and to determine if the player meets requirements for certain items.

Stat Functions

  • Strength: Determines how hard you strike when attacking, how much weight you can carry, and affects how much damage your spells do.
  • Speed: How fast you can attack, how quickly you can reloud ranged weapons, how fast you can switch weapons in combat, and limits your max base-crit.
  • Intelligence: Determines maximum MP, is used heavily in Success calculations for spellcasting, and determines how much damage spells can do. Used also in stealth-checks, lock-picking, traps, and support magic proficiencies such as Lore and Transcription.
