Field Commander

The Gudersnipe Foundation is divided into eighteen districts. All millitary forces in each district report through their local chain of command to a Field Commander assigned to each district.

Field Commanders can be promoted only by the Blind Consul and are without fail graduates of Gudersnipe School, though there is no specific code in Foundation Law stating this.

All Field Commanders hold Instructor-status at Gudersnipe School, thus giving them authority over students. Field Commander is technically a Crimson Blade rank and does not in itself grant authority to the school. Field Commanders operate out of Tactical Command Stations, Central Command and Control technically reports to them.
