The Path to Ascension(Story)

The Path to Ascension is the final short story from The Path to Ascension, volume one of the Course Books, and lends the volume its name. One of the pinnacle events of the series, this story reveals the existence of Project Ascension, the code-name for something Hunter and Jason have been working on for quite some time. The story begins at the Victory Research Facility, but quickly moves to a transport as this phase of the plan is carried out.

The ultimate goal of the plan is not made clear until The Concourse to Victory, when in the story Introductions it is hinted that the project first began.
